The aims of AMNET are:
- Bring people together to share their experience
- Collect and provide accessible information about all aspects of treatment and management of skull base tumours to all interested parties
- Provide support, through a listening ear, for people with skull base tumours who are making informed decisions, about how to manage their condition
- Provide telephone or email contact with others who understand what you are going through and have time to listen
- Provide a regular newsletter for members with information about developments in treatment and living with a skull base tumour
- Provide regular meetings, the opportunity to listen to expert speakers and meet other members
- Provide the opportunity to communicate with other members through the website, meetings and social media
- To work with other support groups to share knowledge and promote understanding
- To work with the Skull Base Team at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, UK providing patient representatives, feedback and help with research.
